The coming 2009 event will feature innovations such as an improved exhibition space over 2008 and a special travel section, while the construction materials sector will be especially well-represented.
In line with the success of the first two, the 3rd International Tourism & Property Show will build on its already-established reputation as a leading exponent of the tourism and real estate industries in Greece, and their potential for growth. It has become a truly global and influential meeting point for tourism and real estate professionals, state officials and the media. The 3rd will be even better, because:
- After the trial “hosted buyers” programme adopted by the 2nd show in 2008, the 3rd will invite 120 more hosted buyers from targeted foreign markets, at Real Travel’s expense. These hosted buyers, as was the case this year, will be brought into contact with all the exhibitors in what is hoped to be a fruitful exchange of information and experience. They will come from Great Britain, Ireland, Russia and most of the countries of Western and Eastern Europe.
- “Tourism & Property 2009” will receive yet more media coverage in Greece and abroad.
- There will be an international presentation of the top Greek builders, hotel enterprises, real estate experts and tourist destinations.
- There will be a formal unveiling of new investment plans for luxury villas, hotels, yacht marinas, golf courses, winter and summer tourism, alternative tourism and pre-fabricated homes.
- As always there will be sideline events to maintain interest and enthusiasm all round.
The 2nd International Tourism & Property Show 2008, held in February 2008, attracted more than 7,100 visitors, hundreds of potential investors in the tourism business and 250 foreign attendees. Many were the fruitful business contacts arising out of this event.
